My mountain house

I like going to our cottage in the Blue Mountains. I help my dad do jobs around the house and in the garden. Sometimes we go on bushwalks nearby.

Dancing awards

I got my first Merit Award at school in my second week of school. It was for having 'an excellent dance style'. We do dancing for PE, except that PE is called 'Gross Motor'. We dance to songs like 'Shake Your Tailfeather' by the Blues Brothers, and 'Sergeant Peppers' Lonely Hearts Club Band' by the Beatles, and of course, 'The Chicken Dance'. After dancing, we do some relaxation to Elvis.

This isn't the first dancing award I have won. When I was in England, I got a certificate for being Best Boy Limbo Dancer at Kiara's disco birthday party.

Walkathon

To raise money for my school, I am going in a walkathon. We are going to walk around the school, and people can sponsor me for each lap. How many laps do you think I can do? The most we can do is 10. Would anyone like to sponsor me?

Update: I walked 10 whole laps!

Crazy frog

Another present I got for my birthday was the Crazy Frog CD from my Uncle Kevin and Aunty Piera. The first day I got it, I danced around the living room to all the songs. I also brought it in for Show & Tell at school and music class. My piano teacher even knows some of the songs. I really love it - ding ding!
