We sailed around different bays, and got to sit at the front of the boat dipping our feet in the water as we rode over waves. We saw lots of different types of boats, including 8-footers, ferries, speedboats, kayaks, luxury cruisers and parasailers.
This blog is for my family and friends overseas to keep up to date with my life in Australia. Feel free to post comments - I would love to hear from you. You can email me at harvey@digimatter.com

I became a real beachboy, going to different beaches each day. People had campfires on the beach, and with the leftover charcoal, I wrote my name on the rocks.
At low tide, we could walk right out really far, almost to where the boats were.
There were also some good walks where you could see Sydney Harbour, parasailing and old beach huts.
My friend Oscar also has an awesome trampoline in his backyard.
It was like having a holiday without leaving my hometown. Isn't that called a 'stay-cation'?
