Snowy mountains

Me, my mum and cousins went on a bus trip to the snow.
My cousins mostly tobogganed. I had a couple of hours of lessons. Here is me learning how to do a pizza shape with my skis, so you can stop and turn.

After you learn to do that, then you can go on the "magic carpet", which helps to get up the hill so you can ski down.

Crazy casinos

Macau is the Las Vegas of Asia, so there are lots of casinos.

Mum and Aunty Penny went to the Grand Lisboa, which is one of the oldest ones in Macau.

We all went to the Venetian, which is supposed to be exactly like the Venetian Casino in Las Vegas, which is supposed to look like Venice in Italy. It had paintings on the ceiling inside, including ones that looked just like the sky!
Inside, they had canals where you can do gondola rides. We went on one where the gondolier sang opera as she drove the boat.

Macau

About 45 minutes by ferry across the harbour from Hong Kong is Macau. We stayed with a teacher called Miss Dalvi, who let us spend a day in her classroom. I made lots of friends that day.

They have outdoor gym equipment outside the school, so people can keep fit without having to pay lots of money to join a gym (see the Grandma swinging side to side in the picture below!).
As it was the last week of term, the school held a sleepover. There were lots of activities, including an art class where we made kaleidoscopes. We got to watch movies until late and I didn't go to sleep until 3am!

Hong Kong

This is the 2nd time I have been to Hong Kong, but this time, I flew over with my Aunty Penny. Mum was already there for a few days for work.

We went to places I had never been before, like Ocean Park, which is built high up on Hong Kong Island. There are 2 parts to it, the bottom half and the top half. You have to go on a cable car to go between them.

We went on a scary rollercoaster ride which felt like we were going to fall down the hill and into the water. We were too busy screaming to admire the views.
Near Ocean Park, we went exploring and got lost. Luckily, we were near the water and were able to flag down a sampan (like an old Chinese junk) which took us around the harbour.

We saw boats which people lived  and worked in. We also saw a huge floating restaurant.
Somewhere I had been before was Hong Kong Disneyland. Here is me having my head eaten by Stitch.

We went to the Animation Academy where they taught us how to draw Goofy. This is the drawing I did during the class.
