China, are you ready?

China is televising a Schools Spectacular / Eurovision Contest in which schools from 20 different countries were invited to participate. Each country is represented by one school and my school was chosen to represent Australia. Out of our school, only 8 musicians were selected and I was one of them!

Beatles Festival @ Port Macquarie

I've seen it all now: from Beatles tribute bands like the Daytrippers which formed just for the festival and did not rehearse together at all beforehand - they admitted it to the whole audience (!)... 

....to the Beatnix (below), who have been around for 30 years...

...of course, a few years ago, my grandparents took me to see the Fab Four, who have their own Las Vegas show...

...and then last year I saw Ringo Starr. Now I just need to see Paul McCartney! 

About as close as I will get to John Lennon...

Summer down the south coast...

...means making a motza busking at Moruya markets!

Grade 4: mission accommplished

I was really nervous going into the exam and didn't think I did that well. Then I found out I got an A!
